I'm a Research Fellow at the Duke Clinical Research Institute at Duke University.
My main research interests are the application of machine learning, mathematical optimization, and data analytics methods to resuscitation, emergency medical services, and pre-hospital response to time-urgent medical conditions, such as cardiac arrest, drug overdose, and stroke. Through my work, I have had the fortune of collaborating with partners from a variety of paramedic agencies such as British Columbia Emergency Health Services, Peel Regional Paramedic Services, Service d'Aide Médicale Urgente, and the Scottish Ambulance Service.
I previously completed my Doctor of Philosophy (2024), Master of Applied Science (2019), and Bachelor of Applied Science (2017) at the University of Toronto. In 2022, I was a visiting postgraduate student at the University of Edinburgh.
