I'm currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the FIRST60 group at Unity Health Toronto. I'm also an Honorary Data Scientist at the Scottish Ambulance Service.

My main research interests are the application of machine learning, mathematical optimization, and data analytics methods to resuscitation, emergency medical services, and pre-hospital response to time-urgent medical conditions, such as cardiac arrest, drug overdose, and major trauma. I have experience collaborating with partners from a variety of health agencies such as British Columbia Emergency Health Services, Nova Scotia Emergency Health Services, Peel Regional Paramedic Services, and the Service d'Aide Médicale Urgente, among others.

I recently completed a research fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute at Duke University. I obtained my PhD from the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto.
